Free Family Concert: Charles F. Dodge City Center, Pembroke Pines

Join us for a musical journey through the evolution of string music, from its origins in Europe to its vibrant transformation in the United States. This FREE concert presented by the City of Pembroke Pines is at 4pm at the Charles F. Dodge City Center (601 City Center Way).

This fun, family-friendly performance by South Florida Symphony’s string ensemble introduces the string family of instruments and how it evolved through classical, jazz, folk, and pop styles. From excerpts from Pachelbel’s Canon and Dvorak’s New World Symphony to music from Disney’s The Little Mermaid to Journey’s Don’t Stop Believin’, this concert has something for everyone!
