A dynamic and versatile musician, Christopher W. Waite brings a wealth of experience to the stage and the podium. His impressive career spans over two decades, encompassing accomplished performances as a tenor soloist, astute direction of musical theater productions, and dedicated contributions to music education and ministry. 

Waite’s musical journey began at Clarion University, where he earned degrees in Music Education and Vocal Performance. He further refined his expertise in Music Education through coursework at Lebanon Valley College in Annville, Pennsylvania. His vocal studies under the guidance of Mr. Milutin Lazich, Clarion University’s esteemed director of choirs and professor of vocal studies, laid the groundwork for a burgeoning career. During his time at Clarion, Waite also served as assistant choral director for all university ensembles, developing a keen understanding of ensemble leadership. Further honing his craft, his vocal studies also led him to Westminster Choir College in Princeton. 

Renowned as a tenor soloist, Waite has graced numerous oratorio performances throughout North America, captivating audiences with his expressive voice. He is also a sought-after recitalist. His collaborations include performances with the York Oratorio Society, York Symphony Chorus, St. Louis Philharmonic, and the Harrisburg Oratorio Society, along with the Pittsburgh Pops Chorale, organized by Robert Page and directed by the late Marvin Hamlisch. 

Waite’s versatility extends to the operatic stage, where he has performed with prestigious companies such as Palm Beach Opera, Opera Fusion, and Gulfshore Opera. He is a regular performer with the Master Chorale of South Florida and Masterworks of the Palm Beaches. Beyond the stage, he also serves the music ministry at the Royal Poinciana Chapel of Palm Beach, Florida. Residing in his hometown of West Palm Beach, Florida, Waite continues to enrich the cultural landscape with his talent and passion.
