About the 2024/25 Season:
Love and laughter. Joy and sorrow. Scorn and revenge. Witness the power of music as Maestra Sebrina María Alfonso conducts works by iconic composers who explore the human condition in all its dramatic glory.
Join us for our 27th season as we revel in the rebellious spirit of groundbreaking artists. Highlights include 100 Years of Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue, Mozart’s riveting choral Requiem, R. Strauss’ touching swansong Four Last Songs, Prokofiev’s whimsical The Love for Three Oranges Suite, and Berlioz’s tumultuous King Lear Overture. Plus, the highly anticipated SFSO premiere of Leonard Bernstein’s satirical masterpiece, Candide.
